CRAI Scout Activity Park

Service Description

The Bushcraft Area at CRAI is the perfect space to slow down, connect with the outdoors, and learn essential survival skills. Surrounded by woodland, this dedicated zone offers a natural setting for activities such as shelter building, fire lighting, woodcraft, and outdoor cooking. Led by your own leaders or visiting instructors, bushcraft sessions give groups the chance to work with natural materials, develop practical skills, and gain confidence in an outdoor environment. It’s hands-on learning at its best — sparking creativity, teamwork, and resilience. The bushcraft area is ideal for scout groups, youth organisations, schools, and clubs looking for an educational yet adventurous experience. It’s also an excellent option for corporate team-building, encouraging participants to step away from technology and collaborate in a natural setting. Whether it’s building a waterproof shelter, mastering the art of kindling a fire, or learning how to prepare simple food outdoors, bushcraft gives every group a memorable adventure that strengthens both skills and bonds. We have a range of Bushscout equipment that can be hired to suit your activity, from dutch ovens to fire pits and cast iron cooking materials. Important: No qualified instructor is needed though a capable/ skilled leader is advised. Please choose your activity length and correct pricing band honestly. You may be asked to provide proof of your community group. Failure to do so could result in additional charges. • CRAI – CRAI Scout Groups within the CRAI District. • Scout & Guides Groups – Scouts, Guides, and Non Profit Youth Organisations. • All Other Groups – General bookings for Schools, clubs, corporate teams, and the public.
